Your donation, no matter how large or small, allows us to continue helping retired racing greyhounds by providing needed veterinarian care and paying for costly transport expenses in order to place beloved hounds in forever homes. Currently, as of January 2023, there are only two dog tracks operational in the U.S. (both in West Virginia). Because of this shortage and the ongoing demand by adopters wanting retired racing greyhounds, SA Greys has expanded our efforts by rehoming racing hounds from tracks in Mexico, Ireland and Australia.
Since 2013, your support provided more than 900 greyhounds with a second chance. A chance to live and settle into a loving pet life. A chance to enrich your lives with the dearest of couch potatoes. Our major expenses are transportation and veterinary care and as of the end of November, the combination of those two expenses this year exceeded $80,000. Your generosity makes a difference!
